Quality education should never be interrupted by temporary cash flow challenges.
Every school term comes with significant financial obligations. Schools must pay staff salaries, purchase food and scholastic materials, maintain facilities, and ensure learners have a conducive environment to thrive, often before tuition fees have been fully collected.
This creates a funding gap that can place immense pressure on school administrators and, if left unaddressed, affect the quality of education delivered to learners.
According to Brian Ddamba, Business Development Manager – SME, at Equity Bank Uganda, schools operate within unique cash flow cycles that require tailored financial solutions.
“Schools have predictable revenue streams, but they also face significant upfront expenses every term. Our role is to provide the financial support necessary to bridge that gap, allowing school owners and administrators to focus on delivering quality education rather than worrying about short-term liquidity challenges.”
To address this challenge, Equity Bank Uganda offers School Bridge Financing, providing unsecured operational funding of up to UGX 500 million to help schools maintain seamless operations throughout the term. For parents and guardians, the Bank also offers School Fees Loans of up to UGX 5 million per child, easing the financial pressure associated with school reopening.
Strong financial foundations enable schools to focus on what matters most: delivering quality education, supporting learners, and building the leaders of tomorrow.
Because no school should have to compromise on its mission, and no learner should be left behind due to temporary financial constraints.
