NIC General Insurance Managing Director, Elias Edu, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Uganda Insurers Association (UIA).
The appointment places Edu among the industry leaders responsible for guiding the association’s work in promoting and developing Uganda’s insurance sector.
Congratulating him on the appointment, NIC General said it is confident that his experience and leadership will contribute to advancing the association’s objectives and strengthening the insurance industry.
The company noted that it looks forward to Edu’s contribution to initiatives aimed at increasing insurance awareness, improving industry standards, and expanding access to insurance services across the country.
The Uganda Insurers Association is the umbrella body that brings together insurance companies operating in Uganda and advocates for the growth and development of the sector.
