Housing Finance Bank has appointed Dorothy Namutebi as its new Head of Mortgage and Consumer Banking.
Namutebi joins the role with more than 22 years of experience in the banking industry, having worked across mortgage banking, retail banking and sustainability.
She will lead the Bank’s mortgage and consumer banking business, with responsibility for driving growth, improving customer value and expanding access to sustainable homeownership solutions.
Her experience in mortgage and retail banking comes as the housing finance market continues to face challenges, particularly around the affordability and accessibility of long-term financing for homebuyers.
Namutebi’s appointment adds experience to the Bank’s leadership as it seeks to grow its mortgage business while serving a wider range of retail customers.
